TheStandard for Safety Inspection of Ship Lock Engineering and Construction” compiled by ACEG Road and Port Engineering Construction Co., Ltd. was officially released and implemented as it has been approved by Anhui Provincial Market Supervision Bureau recently.



In the process of the compilation of the “Standard for Safety Inspection of Ship Lock Engineering and Construction”, ACEG Road and Port Engineering Construction Co., Ltd. has fully collected and utilized its experiences forming and summed up in the implementation of ship lock projects such as Paihekou Ship Lock and Lingbi Ship Lock and mapped out 11 chapters for the standard describing the technical elements of safety managements, civilized construction, hydraulic earthwork excavation, foundation pit and cofferdam engineering, shiplock concrete works, shiplock building machine (mobile moulding machine), power supply for construction, works at heights, hoisting works and shiplock installation, dredging of approach channels, operations above water and underwater.

 

The Chapter on the ship lock building machine (mobile moulding machine) is a new addition to this edition of the standard. The shiplock building machine independently developed by ACEG R&P Co., Ltd., is mainly composed of mobile mould frames and suspension system, mobile system, formwork system, safety protection system, electrical and intelligent control system, etc. The implementation of this chapter is helpful in terms of providing rules and laws for the inspection of the mobile mould machine and in an attempt to reduce the risk of equipment safety managements.

 

As the “Standard for Safety Inspection of Ship Lock Engineering and Construction” became mandatory, the safety management of shiplock construction could be effectively regulated and it has provided a shift for the shiplock construction safety check from qualitative requirements to quantitative evaluation, from experience to science, from disarrangement to orderliness, from passiveness to activeness and provided an objective basis for the competent department of the industry to evaluate the shiplock construction safety levels, and take it a step further, the implementation of this standard will better meet the needs of the safety management of shiplock engineering construction and the safety work can be carried out into the actual engineering construction production and the level of the safety management of shiplock engineering and construction will consequently be further promoted.
